    I initial reaction is “RIGHT ON” .As a retired Federal Civil Servant who was involved in various efforts to improve Federal performance culminating in a detail to Al Gore’s reinventing government, I’m a firm believer that we are now on the right track. Sometimes this concept is called “collaborative governance.” There is a resource that could be quickly tapped to help get the whole effort under way. They are the casualties of reinventing government — the retired civil servants like myself who have kept contacts with various people — we worked with and have seen the reinventing effort quietly bear fruit. I’m dumbfounded by some of the efforts done by the current administration.
